Hope

I’ve often sat and wondered

why I’m sitting at this place

You promised not to give me more,

No more than I can take

I could be feeling weak right now,

But all I feel is strong

Refuse to ask ‘why me’ oh Lord

Cos this road – won’t be for long

You’ll banish all the fear I have

And you will watch over me

You promised if I keep the faith

That you will set me free

I know that in this trying time

All I can do is trust

Never will I give up hope

For me “Hope” is a must

I got this… and with my family

All I feel is blessed

Love will get me through this time

And God will do the rest
